What are you are thoughts on gangs and what expirences have you had with them? I think they're a menace to society most of the time, but at the same time I'm facinated with them. Especailly street gangs that have grown into criminal organizations and branched out all across the country. I just think it's cool that the leaders of Major gangs such as the P. Stones and Gangster Disciples were able to establish sophisticated drug and communication lines across the country and through out the federal prison system. These "super gangs" are ran like para-military, buisness corperations. However, it disgust me that they decieve new comers into thinking that all of them can make it big in Gangsterdom, but that's their nature and there's nothing that can change it. I got a few friends that are in gangs(btw I live in the suberbs) and I can't help but admire their brazen attitude towards anyone they meet(all three of them moved from the city). They don't take shit from anybody and always standup for themselves and their click when challenged. I know I'm glamerizing the life style, but I can't help but be impressed by it.
i have absolutely no experiance with gangs... unless you count the snobby cheerleaders i went to school with. They were kinda gang-ish, i guess.
countries in war against each other is just a huge glamourised gang war where killing is encouraged and you become a hero, hmm sounds similar.
it seems glam- take it from someone that has a drug felony- there was a "family" cheap name yes.. but did they ever hurt people that tried to interfer?- yes. gangs arent worth it though. ive never been in one but i can relate from something similar *yet less huge* when i was young* if you wanna talk about this, pm me. love T
I was friends with a couple of gangbangers when I lived in Chicago. They had good weed and good connections, but I didn't kow what the fuck the were talking about most of the time. Just smile and nod. I get along with almost everyone I meet though.
I was friends with an HA a couple years ago - I used to buy a lot of extremely good extremely cheap weed off of him. Still, I wouldn't have put it past him to break my knees if I ever owed him money. And he kept trying to get me to mule over the American Border. Maybe we weren't that good friends.
I think they are the most pathetic aspect of human society and anyone involved in one a down right fool
lots of people around my area think they are tough and could should someone whenever they wanted to. im sure there are maybe a few who could, but most of the people are just talking shit. theyd probably cry like a baby if you threw a chicken at them
theres supposed to be gangs where i lived before.but mostly i thought of them as wannabes.trying to talk ghetto ,dressed up in rapper style clothes. thing about all that is that the local newspapers used to make it sound like they were la stlye gangs whne ever something happened.fuelling a self perception in these "gangsters" minds as the real thing.
Death's sig summarizes how I feel about gangsters. Take away their guns and their thugster friends and gangsters are inner city kids who just want to belong to something. Most of them grew up poor, often in single parent homes, and a paternal anti-authority hierarchy seems pretty tough and appealing. For the most part, their scared kids who don't feel like they belong anywhere else. I've brushed across more then ten gangsters at night in North Dallas offering me drugs, all I had to do was tell them no thanks I'm broke, and it wasn't a big deal. Never got stabbed or had to fight. I feel more pity for them then anything. Gang members usually weren't presented with many options besides gang life. You see that commercial where that young African American man is so proud he has a job at Mcdonalds? If I'd been him, I'd rather be in a gang.
there are some gang problems near me. last year the MS-13 cut off 3 different kids hands. some kid brought a machete to my sisters school. kids got shot at the mall. but we are only a suberb and a pretty rich suberb too compared to many others so id hate to see real inner city kids in gangs
The birds they say I got a way with words I''m so gangter I be like baby girl I like them curves. We're in the ILSISD gang we have a handshake and gangnames...for reals...we are all 20 something white girls with hilites who drink cosmos while shopping in the ralph lauren shorrom but none the less we gangsta gangsta
i'VE NEVER HAD GANG EXPERIENCE. I KNOW 3 ACTUAL GANSTA'S THOUGH, AND THEY ARE COOL TO ME, BUT THAT'S JUST ME. iN GENERAL i THINK GANG ACTIVITY IS A NEGATIVE THING, BUT THERE ARE SOCIOECONOMIC FACTORS THAT WILL CAUSE SOME OPRESSED PEOPLE AND MINORITIES TO JOIN GANGS, AND I CANT SAY I BLAME THEM.
