The G8 confrence went very well. The aid was doubled to $50 billion a year, and there will be another summit in a few months to discuss this further. And perhaps more importantly, they've agreed to drastically cut export subsidies which keep Africa in poverty. George Bush is a travesty to man. What a worthless man that is so against so many things. I wish he would get over himself and realize that everyone is different. People deserve to be who they are. There are many things that I personally don't belive in but would never stop anyone else from feeling that it was right. Seriously, I feel so bad that so many people are hurt because they feel a certain way. It's so sad! And now, people are starving, and other high-up people act like they care, but the couple thousand dollars that mean nothing to them, they can't give it up to help those poor people. I wish I had any money at all. I'd give it to others to help them survive, but I can barely survive myself. Gosh what is the world coming to?
