G.I. Joe to be beheaded in 72 hours. . .

So I got home from school today, started up my computer, and loaded AOL Instant messenger. The first thing that pops up in AIM today is a story about a G.I. who some bastards are threatening to behead in 72 hours. There was a picture too. Right away, I thought "Can that be human? That looks like an action figure to me." I told my friend about it, and he showed me this:
