Heylo people, Inspired by Duncans "will geography be studied" thread, i thought about exactly what subjects will be taught in schools in the future....and I realised that it seems senseless to me to teach "History", but not have lessons which are designed to make children think about their future, and the future of their planet. It doesnt seem ridiculous to me to suggest that maybe "Future" lessons should be taught....which explore our political options(I never got taught a single thing about politics, although i will be able to vote after next year...A lot of young people i know who voted last year had no idea what exactly they were voting for) Lessons could also go into more depth about issues like global warming, alternative lifestyles and plans to save this planet, aswell as making children plan their own futures a little more carefully. Love-Maxi.Xx
