The episode where Bender tries to become a great chef was on tonight; and at the end: *SPOILERS* the professor examines the vile of liquid that Sparkle gives Bender, and says its just water. Ordinary water, laced with a few spoonfuls of LSD. Good times, good times; I love drug humour in cartoons.
Futurama is my favorite cartoon of all time! I love Dr. Zoidberg, he's so cute the way he's so well-meaning and yet ignorant of humanity, I wish they'd show more of him. And it has the wittiest, goofiest satire of all sci-fi franchises (ST, SW, Alien, etc.) I've ever seen. And then those Fox cretins had to go and cancel it. My opinion of Fox is perhaps better imagined than described.
Dude I did the tap water line for weeks after I saw it. "Its just so beautiful! -sob-" I also like the boxed universe episode. Universe 420 "Get a job hippie!"
That's no joke; did you hear that Family Guy is coming out with new seasons? It was canceled from Fox because of the lack of publicity, but then it's put up on Cartoon Network a year or two later and it's audience (me being included) responded so well, that Fox wants it back now. What morons, I haven't watched Fox in like a year now; The Simpsons are just mindless dribble now, they've run out of good plot ideas.
Yeah I was very dissapointed when it was cancelled But the post above has given me new hope that it's almost cult-like appeal will bring it back
It was a well written show. Maybe if I had watched it more often, it wouldn't have been cancelled. (sniffle) Its all my fault. Sorry I let you all down (cries).
