I just picked up another Tim Dorsey and another Carl Hiaason. Don't know how familiar anyone is , but they both write their stories as taking place in Florida and both are funny as hell. Well worth trying out .
An example of Tim Dorsey from his latest I'm starting. First sentence, 1st page: "The hookers were slap fighting a Hare Krishna up at the intersection when the bullet came through the windshield." Gets pretty wild after that.
