funny smelling nugs...

i picked up a new batch last week, it has a funny, almost unpleasant smell to it. the smell faintly reminds me of a box where crickets are kept. anyone who has a reptile that they have to keep crickets as food, knows this smell. however, i decided to give it another try today in my vaporizer to test the quality. this is the first time today i have vaped, (.21g) and i am high beyond expectations. anyone else gotten some funny smelling weed that turned out alright?

maybe its just me but that bud looks old and dried out?

but who knows i'm not a professional weed inspector

It looks to me like its just old cuz the stems are brown, but if it gets ya high...

 

That looks like some old badly cured bud.

But you say it's still moist? Could have been old nugs, dipped in water to weigh it up, this would bring similar smells not to mention mold...

Or the smell could be insect spray among other things.

 

Thats some really fricken strange looking bud.

 

I know a guy who sells bud liek this...apparently he puts it in the fridge to keep it fresh,
But I've never noticed any odd smell iwth the weed.

 

maybe there's mold in there? i cant imagine any other reason for the strange smell

damn expensive cricket food... oats work for me. i know ur justkiddin..

dont have much experience with this type of thing but i agree it might've been weighed down wiht a tad of water.. and then molded....

That bud was not dried/cured properly, and I'd bet my life it smells like piss.
