Funny Fucked up fact

Ok....I heard this the other day, though Id share.
Remember back in da day when all the kids wore their pants hanging below their ass crack because it was the cool thing to do? GANGSTA!
Anyway...that is something that origionated in prison.....right?
Well, the reason these dudes in prison would wear their pants like that was to let the other prisoners know that they were....uh.....wanting it back there......know what I mean? Through the back door!!!! That was their "come and get it" signal! And then all the kids around school began doing that too thinking they were all gangsta! Hahahaha

 

How did u find out this "fact"?

 

It's a pretty well-known fact that a lot of the modern urban fashions originated in prisons across the country.

 

It was an interview I watched with some woman (forget her name) but she has been working in the prison system for years and she said......

well this lady has been working in the system for YEARS and that is what she said. So that one prisoner could let other ones know that he is up for whatever with them....thats how he rolls. I beleive it. Then it got popular with the kids and everyone else

 

I learned about the origin of that several years ago from a college professor. I just thought they had originated from rap videos. I don't think I've seen anyone in Japan wear their pants below their ass (and yes, hip hop is popular with many young people here).

 

Ahhh, so when someone says that the ass-crack fashion looks gay, it literally is.

 

it is actually because when you go to prison...they take your belt

 

im not compleatly sure but dont u wear jumpsuits in jail?

 

i think they usually only wear the jumpsuits when they go out in public to clean up garbage and other work like that.

 

not all jails.... I know they don't in federal prison. They wear khaki shirts and pants.

That depends on the prison. In most county jails, if not all, the inmates wear the jumpsuits. In state prisons they wear jeans and t-shirts and in fed prisons the dress code is open too. Maybe each state has it's own dress codes so it could vary also.
