    There's also the Symphony Of Fire in Vancouver, if you like fireworks. There are fireworks prior to that event for Canada Day as well.

    There's also 'Thunder in the Valley' in Blairemore Alberta sometime this summer, not sure of the date yet.

    theres the jazz fest in vancouver and the folk fest in victoria. also victoria pride they are all in late june/eary july :)

    Activist training and networking, May 19 - 22, 2006

    A four-day campout featuring workshops, training, music, and
    visioning for future campaigns. Wild Earth is an inclusive gathering,
    dedicated to forging alliances across boundaries of race, class, gender,
    and age. Join us for hands-on training in non-violence and civil
    disobedience tactics, tree-climbing, blockades, primitive skills and more. Network with
    activists for environmental and social justice, share skills and learn
    from others.

    Wild Earth 2006 is a family-friendly event focused on inclusion and
    equality. There will be zero tolerance for violence, abuse, or harassment.
    We ask that all participants abide by the camp's standards for behaviour
    and hygiene to protect our health and safety.

    VOLUNTEER with Wild Earth! Email: earth_first@resist.ca with name, phone
    number, e-mail, skills, resources (like a car, food, climbing gear, etc.), needs,
    and days and times available.

    Many happenings in Calgary this year. To name a few...

    Resurrection 14 is on May 6th if your into the hardcore tech/gabber/drumandbass scene.

    Preytek is doing a show on May 4th.

    I'm sure as usual there will be drum circles and fire dacing in Riley park as soon as the weather warms up too.


    And as was said before Calgary folkfest, and Motion Notion are both held in the summer.

    i was supposed to go a couple of years ago, but plans fell through.
