Get the original 20 round magazine built for the SKS NOT those junk after market magazine. and Clips is not the right word for magazines. they did import in the US a SKS that took regular AK magazines this are prob the best bargain if you can locate one. The 20 round magazine i first mention is not a detachable magazine it works just like the original 10 rounds. if you think 6 rounds sucks the american battle field rifle and main rifle the M-1 Garand only held 8 rounds thats only 2 more than yours. and that was the rifle used in world war II. AND KOREA and early Vietnam .

of course any gun can be used for hunting but who the fuck is going to use one of those SKS's? it's usless as a hunting rifle is all i'm saying

the thing has a solid wood but and kicks like a fuckin race horse, i would like to see even the most skilled hunter try to take multiple shots at a running target with those open sighted sks's

back when my dad owned his M16 [before they became restricted in canada] he had a 50 Round Banana clip on it, i remeber at the rifle range i shot that thing when i was like 12 and it made me cry

 

Lots people have and uses military guns to hunt just ask those african in africa. many of the poach rhinos are kill with AK47. smaller game is also kill using the same gun to provide meat for the trible or village. many guys here uses SKS to hunt with at medium range.

 

they are only allowed 5 round just like any other semi auto hunting rifle costing several hundreds more. Browning and Remington and others built a semi auto rifle for hunting.

i'm saying why the fuck would i ever use such a gun to hunt where i live? just because some niggers who cant afford nothign else besides AK47's and the cheap rounds which are probably the most available in the area hunt with it why the hell would I?

my hunting rifle is a Hand Crafted Sako 7mm made in finland, that is a PRECISON rifle, not a mass produced gun of which is basically useless for everything except for savage hunting and killing

if u actually think an SKS is good for anything but random shooting and ppl who cannot afford a better rifle u are the one who is stupid, no one who has the choice/money to pick up a SKS in the united states/canada would pick that gun up for anything but show just for lack of performance
