Fuck those folks at the top who always screw you over. They really don't know shit.

I know I shouldn't criticise without taking a look at my own faults first (and Hell knows, there's plenty of 'em); but it seems to me that there are millions of ways that we all conform to convention, probably without even realising it, just to make the majority happy.

Yet if we try to do anything about it as individuals, we are riddiculed, sometimes even incarcerated or killed.

Why don't the majority ever have the backbone to stand up for individual freedom? Why don't we do what we choose, provided it doesn't hurt anyone else, and screw anyone who doesn't like it?

Let's all be free, and enjoy ourselves while we're still alive.

Because everyone is already too busy doing their individual thing to be bothered. Ironic huh?

    Ain't that the truth!

"The Establishment" is all about creating diversions and distractions to keep the common man at bay while orchestrating their agenda of corruption. They tell us what they want us to hear so that we'll just move on like drones while they rob us blind, and routinely pillage and plunder other nations.

Unfortunately, it's hard to take action against it (if you protest, you may well be arrested and held as a "terrorist"). The best you can do is vote (though you can't even know if your vote is gonna count due to the computerized voting machines), plus it's a bi-partisan system, so there's no viable candidates to vote for anyway.

No use in lettin' it get ya down, though, think globally and act locally as they say, take it one day at a time and have faith that the system will correct itself, any empire as fat and stupid as the one we've got now is bound to crumble, let's just hope they don't take us down with them...

I agree with the rest of your post, but I think you're underestimating their intelligence a bit.

"Knowledge" and "intelligence" CAN be two separate entities.

Personally, I think that I would. I'd be scared as hell, of course. But I'd like to think that I could die for freedom, if I had to.

'Depends on how you define "freedom" I guess.

I'd die for freedom if it jibed with my philosophy, but it's tough to justify that sacrifice.

I would die defending freedom. True freedom. Freedom of the individual, not of this country, or of the state. Just to set an example. To show,"Hey, I wasn't hurting anyone, but look what they did to me." Then maybe people would open their eyes and see whats going on around them.

Because most are sheep, blinded by cultural dogma, they were told they are free by the establishment from as far back as they can remeber so they belive they are free. To the brainwashed masses freedom is just owning a home in the suburbs, married to the opposite sex, having a bunch kids and filling that empty feeling with useless consumer crap.

The only way to wake the masses from their trance, is for their reality to come crashing down around them, for example the Great Depression woke a great many, while the counter culture of the 60's while strong, only was the awakened youth, while the majority of the adults stayed in their trance.

nah, because corporate media would just paint you as a law-breaking criminal, not an innocent victim of a callous, powerhungry government.

Or some insanely sick person, which goes back to what he was saying...as soon as you step out of what the authorities/corporations/money controllers think is wrong or endangers their source of income, you are labeled a freak.

Brainwashed? Please man, that's a tad over the top. What you consider freedom isn't always what others consider freedom. What you enjoy isn't always what others enjoy. Empty feeling? Having kids is the most rewarding and fullfilling thing people can do! I know that and I don't even have kids. What you call consumer crap is what you use to access this website... welcome to the consumer crap market! You have a car? a bed? clothes? Equipment and gear for activities?.... again .. welcome to the consumer crap market!

    can you say.. baaaaaaaaaaaa

I said, that is all they think freedom is, even caged rabbits can reproduce, it is no measure of freedom, neither is consumer goods. They have given up thought and responsiblity to the establishment, your not free, you just think you are, your still living in a dictatorship elected by the majority, your "freedom" is just what bunch of rich guys do you want to rule over you. For example take the US and homosexuality, the goverment dictates to the homosexuality that they can not get married.

word. I get very exercised by the automatic assumption made by some adolecscent socialists that anyone who doesn't feel the need constantly to complain about all the evils of capitalism must be a brainless, junk-food-stuffing, beer-swilling tube-jockey.

I used to be an ardent anarchist, and decried anyone who did anything I percieved as selling out. But I grew up, and now I see life diferently: however shit it may all be, the only sensible reaction is to hold one's nose and get on with it.

There's no point being right if it means you don't have the things that you want in life. Now, you'll probably call me 'materialistic', but I call it realism. Shouting about how terrible it all is, and how we have no 'freedom', 'man', isn't helping anyone. I prefer to get on with my life, and try and make it as good as possible for me and my family. That doesn't make me a 'brainwashed mass', thank you very much!

You definately sound like another damn Anarchist!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so without a governing body how do you expect laws to be enforced? Without laws, you don't have a single damn freedom unless you can defend it yourself. I hope you are one strong SOB or at least have enough fire power to keep the thieves at bay. Anything you "think" you own, which must be nothing because you hate consumer goods, is up for grabs to the strongest force.

Good luck with that whole Anarchist thing!

PS: Turn off your power using computer, take off all your clothes, leave your bedroom, go through the hallway, through the living room and out the front door. Now, keep walking till you find some land that nobody owns and stake your claim. Build your house out of whatever is on the land and then see how long you survive. Remember, you can't keep anything you currently have because it's consumer goods. You can't buy anything from anyone because it would be a consumer purchase. You can't sell anything because you would contribute to the consumerism. Oh... and GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

You know what? I suspect your a full of shit, hypocrite, Anarchist wannabe and won't do a damn thing to live by your own theories.

  19. I wouldn't die defending freedom because then I'd be dead, and in affect not free........

I know it sounds selfish but I don't care, most people are to stupid to appreciate freedom anyway.

What freedom is there currently? The laws don't protect me, they let the bourgeoise usurpt wealth at the expence of the proletariat. The bourgeoise has the right to slowly kill people on a grand scale with chemicals and pollution, and quickly with the military industrial complex.
