bump this thread if you don't give a fuck who wins the upcoming election and are sick of hearing people bitch about politics.

Man I have to agree with you. I'm sitting here watching the local news and in the last 23 mins I have seen at least 20 election commercials. Hold on..we have more coming. Anyways look at it this way...it's almost over.

 

I am sick of hearing about American elections as well.
And also about Sandy. In the last few days over fifteen people died in Poland, due to extreme cold. Yet there is no live coverage, or anything like that, and it's not the whole world that cares.
There is no news portal that I can open where America is not number one news. There is a whole world out there.

To be honest, i didnt hear one single thing about poland. Sucks that happened to those people

Only way i hear about that kinda stuff is from people i work with who are from foreign countries, sometimes theyll tell me or well be on the computers in the training room and theyll be on like italian or russian websites and ill look with them.

Anywho, homeless people and old people are usually the first to die in any extreme weather. It's become where it's not really newsworthy.

 

I really don't have much sympathy for homeless people that don't live in third world countries. I guess I'm a little jaded, living where I do and dealing with mass amounts of homeless.

 

I do, since no one deserves to freeze to death.

I absolutely do not wish that upon anybody, but I think a lot of people could benefit from some self responsibility. If you're not going to try and save yourself, why should others? That's all I am trying to say.

 

They deserve to be at a warm place, and so does every person. It's a basic human right, it shouldn't even be a question. Not everyone makes good decisions , some can't even handle ''life'', lol.
We're not talking about them getting back on their feet, and people helping them with that, it's pretty much about pure survival. No one should freeze to death, not even the worst drug addict or an alcoholic.

I'm getting sick of this attitude people get in this country where they just want the homeless to disappear. When you get that far down the foodchain you can't just "snap out of it" and climb back up. There's nothing to climb!


Anyways, sorry to hear about the Polish people. R.I.P. to them and all the others around the world going through the same plight.

And to bring the thread back to topic... I hate the fuckin' elections too!

 

It's a right? I just do not agree. I, for one, am sick and tired of funding people who can't get right. We're messing with the basic principles of evolution here.
If somebody can't "handle" life then why delay the inevitable? There are few things I despise more than leeches of society.
