Some people don't have the intelligence to understand certain basic ideas. Like what a website is for, or what function a link serves.

...what? I don't know, but I'm saying like you know how if you have a house here is a phone number to call it? Well what's the web sight for? Where's it going, what's it for? (Completely baffled at this point)

occurred to me that this should be moved to the whiners forum

 

stupid people who don't listen get annoying and eventually someone has to piss and moan about it. the seemingly deliberate obtuseness of sam's friend would drive anyone to bang their head on a wall.

 

maybe his friend was during it on purpose because he knew it would piss him off. if i knew he'd make a thread out of it i'd do the same thing. :biggrin:

it REALLY gets under people's skin. it's one of my favorite hobbies. my ultimate favorite is when i can pretend i don't realize when a particularly "cool" crowd doesn't want me around. hehehehhe. it's fucking awful.

I think I'd be more inclined (were I Sam) to bang his friends head against the wall. I think what Sam needs is a bag of chips, a case of his favorite beer and a copy of Office Space for the DVD player.

My dad thinks that people are ignoring him if their chat status goes to idle on Facebook...I keep trying to explain that it won't let you change it manually, but he won't listen.
