and those bastards in that movie even if thats not how he was fuck him anyway makin me ffeel like this. how daare him.
i think you're gonna get in trouble for this thread the thing with morrison is that he was just a person, had some crazy ass ideas and was pretty fucking amazing, but never-the-less he was just a person people make mistakes..
he wasn't that darn amazing he was an average songwriter (for that time period.... very below average by today's standards) and a below average singer even for back then (though, unlike songwriting, good singing never really tends to change regardless of the era).
ugh sadie wanted me to watch this movie so i would like the doors butjust the whole thing really repulses me hahaha
ahaha idunno if all that crap val whatsisihhface was saying was what le morrison really sai d but jesus if so...PFFT nd if not?? then who the fuck'd let someone portray them selves or their friends like that?
yeah but have you ever read his poetry? i fucking hate the doors movie, its horrible oliver stone twists everything, and i'm not just talking about that movie yeah he sounds like a dick, but he still had a huge amount of talent, maybe not as a songwriter, but his main focus was poetry.. american night and the lords and new creatures, they're really good books of his and i absolutely loved strange days my life with and without jim morrison by patrica keneally(or however it is spelt) it showed a different side of him oh well your opinions are all valid and completely understandable i don't really care that much about morrison anymore, i used to be obsessed..
music is more fucking organic than that though.I wouldn't listen to the doors much now,but by christ I had a good summer all those years ago when I did.But so vast is the universe of music that there is no need to linger for too long on one style - there is so much to discover - and u can always come back to the old familiars when the time seems just right
thats waht i was thinking man so what if i don't like this song i like that one and thats what matters ahahaha
i think most people on here have, at least in some small way, or might still be.. not that it's a bad thing, i read alot of stuff on him for school.. i like reading
haha... i think most of people liked him because he was sexy. i don't know... most of my friends don't like him much... and it's totally ok. it's not a big deal actually. i won't hate anyone just for liking or disliking jim morrison. i enjoy reading his poetry, but that's just me.
