Fruit Juice In a Bong?

I'm curious to try it...
Anyone have experiences with it?

 

You can put anything you want in a bong. I prefer ice tea over water.

 

ive put gatorade and apple juice in before and both were disgusting. i want to try to use vitamin water sometime cause its like water but only kind of flavored

 

lol...i prefer ice water >_< id rather not make my bong a sticky sludgy mess. although iced tea might not be bad

 

Fuckin iced tea sounds great, but it seems like you would only want to do that in the summer because thats when iced tea is at its best.

iv tried gatorade and it taste like shit ice water is sometimes good and i iv never tried ice tea but i will now

 

I used beer once and it seemed to have gotten me stoned more then normal but that may just have been i hadn't smoked in a while so I had a low tolerance.

 

I love my ice bong for water and ice. It works very well.

 

eh, ice water is ok.

but i love clean, hot water above all else. the steam is soothing to the throat and makes the hits far smoother....

I like the cooling sensation of clean ice water in a bong during the summer and spring but warm/hot water is definately my preference for winter and fall. Clean water is essential and I would never put anything else in my bong. Clean water and the best herbs I can get my hands on.

 

i'd never really heard of many other people using hot water....heard of one or two trying it, but for me, its always the best choice. i'll sometimes use icewater, and i keep an old empty forty of mickeys around in which to store water in the fridge so its pre-cooled if i want it, or for whatever, but hot water is the best in my opinion.

i cant remember why i tried it originally, but i think its cause i had a cold and didnt want my throat to be aching after a bonghit.

since then ive thought about it some more....and it seems to me...

well, smoke is hot. smoke will always be hot. if smoke cools down to a certain point, everything condenses and it stops being smoke. i dont know how much smoke you may or may not lose smoking through cold water, because you can still get huge hits. but at the same time, it leaves me coughing with a raw, irritated throat.

i figure, smoke is hot, and no matter how much you cool it with water and ice, it will still be hot, because....shit.....it's smoke! so instead i choose to embrace the heat and use hot water, and allow the steam to mingle with the smoke.....instead of cooling the smoke, it adds moisture to it. far smoother hits, far more pleasant in my opinion. its not something i do all the time, of course, but it is my favorite.

sort of like how a vicks vaporizer adds steam to the air to sooth your respiratory system when you're sick.....adding steam to the smoke makes it more comfortable, in my opinion. i dont know very many people other than myself who do this, but the few i know who've tried it had positive things to say about it.

 

either way its nice and i think its at least worth a try, whether it becomes a habit or not, nate!

 

imo hot water makes hits smoother than ice water

 

dont put just anything in a bong, i heard about some dumbasses who put everclear in a bong for some reason and it got too hot while they were smoking it and ignited blowing up in their faces. That would not be cool, but yea ive put all sorts of shit in bongs before, doesnt seem to affect the flavor too much but it depends on what you use

 

heh i filled it with wine once...i don't really reccomend it as although it tastes good at hit one, after a while it just gets gross. It was sort of a cheap wine though.

 

yeah ive heard of using hot water before. ive never tried it. but idk if i smoke without ice in my bong compared to when i smoke WITH ice in my bong i can tell a HUGE difference. i hardly ever cough anymore off of hits if i have ice in it. ill have to try the hot water thing. sounds pretty dank
