Frozen smushed up strawberries

That's the dessert I went for tonight instead of cake. I feel proud of myself. Something tells me it's probably chocked full of corn syrup and other great for me things, though. Oh well, it tastes soooo much better than cake.

 

Back in Ottawa and in Santo Domingo we had this place called Yogen Fruz (the spelling might be a little off). It's basically a frozen yogurt place and they have all these toppings you can add to your yogurt, most of it it's fruits, there's also like granola and oreos. You could pick as many as you want and they would mix it in this machine. SO yummy. I've been craving that all day and your thread made me think of it.

I love cake.. I made a chocolate two tier cake with strawberry preserves between the cakes, and dark chocolate frosting. It was fabulous. Decadent.

We did Daniel's family birthday outing today and Daniel's mom made him a double layered yellow cake with chocolate frosting. We have half of it, I haven't tried it yet because I'm full on the dinner they bought us and the strawberries she gave me. Haha.

 

I used to be allergic to frozen strawberries as a kid, probably because of all the preservatives and shit. One time my mom made strawberry shortcake with frozen strawberries and I almost had to go to the hospital because I couldn't breathe.

 

i like frozen berries a lot... lots of times, if im craving ice cream, i end up eating frozen berries instead. seems liek itd be at least a little bit healthier we also have some frozen berries right now that were picked from my moms friends garden, just washed n frozened, no other treament, mmmmmm

 

I like them too, I get them all the time for Amber, especially when she was teething.
