I wonder if man will one day be able to harness the powers of the earth.

 

my uncle steve collected frozen frogs.

he put firecrackers in them and put them all over his aunts house....

they exploded.


one of my moms friends in high school took all of the dissected frogs, and tossed them in a blender

with no lid.

 

gotta be incredibly sore when they wake up.

i dream of the day when man realizes that to harness the powers of earth is impossible.

but to ride the waves of her abundance is far more dazzling than harnessing anything could ever be.

dude, i was just talking about men needing to shape up. us chicks already get it.

but yeah. the hippie ideal. in a reasonable, workable way. cause lets face it. we're not all cut out to live in the woods all the time.

but if we look at nature, at mother earth, at the entire universe... and if we really see it, instead of trying so hard to see what we can exploit out of it, we just might see that all the answers for living an amazingly abundant life are right in front of us.

 

why not both? we are creating all these spectacular things in a time when we have oil. we ARE harnessing the power of nature. and as the oil runs out, we grow wise and realize we must find a balance. we will find alternative energy to power the things and production of things that really matter. we can coexist powerfully

 

That's about a sexist statement. Look at Palin up there in Alaska promoting the extermination of the wolf and trying to get beluga whales off the endangered species list. Promoting oil drilling in the alaska caribou refuge.

There are tons of chicks who don't get it. And there are a lot of men who do. And vice versa.
