Next week, my temp license is up.

 

That stage of my driving was the longest 6 months of my life.

 

Here it's 8 months if you take driving lessons and 12 months if you don't and after you gotta pass the pratical exam

And i'll go to la Nouvelle-Orléans when i'll have my complete license

 

wow, i'm glad i'm not Canadian.

That was the only time I've ever said that.

 

its getting worse. in bc it is now a year, but for me it was 6 months, only 3 if you get lessons, and my buddy kas who is 3 years older than me caught the dying gasp of the 2 week learning period.

 

yeah.i should start driving

 

I can't imagine NOT driving.

 

It seems better in the other provinces ...

My grandpa has its license since 1941 ..
In those times, you just add to pay i think one or two bucks and you had a driving license

we can start driving (and in theory take the test) on our 17th birthdays

 

ahahah.. yeah.. im probably just gonna wait til im 18 to take the test cuz im nearly 17 as it is and u have to have ur permit for a fuckin year before u can take the test if ur under 18 here.. its like that in Georgia AND North Carolina, damnit :$

theres this girl from the U.S at my college....she only had to covert her U.S licence to a UK one :$

 

yeah, thats what my parents had to do when they first moved over there.
