theres prolly a thread about this already..haha but its been on alot nick at nite..its the 1 of the funniest show..any1 agree?

 

I love the show to death I try not to miss the reruns when they're on!

 

that show was hilarious. but its a tie between the fresh prince and In living color.

 

Fresh Prince is awesome. I watch it on Nick @ Nite too.
I really wish someone would play In Living Color reruns. That was the Ultamate Shit!

i remember coming home from school (for a good amount of years) every day to come home and watch it. it's a classic definitely, i love it.

It's a pretty good show. I enjoy watching the reruns on nick at night before i go to bed. Will Smith is soooo funny.

 

hillary is fine and i like it when carlton shows his childish side, like when he does that dance and high pitched screams but underneath the innocent exterior lies a very selfish boy!

I think it's utterly unfunny, and Will Smith's hair looks like crap.

 

Oh yeah my mom got me In Living Color dvd for xmas! and its 1st season...thats all the seasons they have out??? which one is the one where jim carrey does vanilla ice?

 

I agree.. it was possibly funny for a minute or two.. but the whole morale backbone and pious bollocks and quite a lot of 'black power' (not a bad thing in small doses) got on my nerves...

only a racist would say that there was "quite a lot of 'black power'" anything on Fresh Prince it was just purely fun (in the later seasons sometimes a li' dramatic) comedy

 

I might have phrased that badly... but i am no rascist . imho their was a lot of overtly black issues that were dealt with from a white prospective (ultimatly) .. and the whole show was based on horrid stereotypes ... yeah you might say it is only a comedy ... but i would hope a programe with that amount of backing (quincy jones etc etc) could have done a lot better ..

The 'quite a lot of black power' just meant that for all its moralising and respect for black issues , they were living the ultimate 'white dream' call it the 'american dream' if you wish .

It was no Cosby show.

 

ah cosby show is soo boring! *rolls eyes* he made like a million shows and a million cartoons! but yah fresh prince is kinda sterotyped..but not tottaly..its still good show!

 

My mother's best friend wrote for that show.
