I have some condoms that were exposed to sub-freezing temperatures while in my car at night. Are they ruined? If it's questionable, i'll throw 'em out. Better safe than sorry. I just don't wanna' waste my money if they will be all right. Anyone else have experiences with this shit? You guys can hijack the thread if you want. ~Big A
Don't use them. Read on the box. It probably says not to expose to temperatures below ___ or above ___. It's because it can dry out the latex, which makes them MUCH easier to break. Also the reason you shouldn't keep them in a wallet, pocket, etc., because any small holes or cracks in the wrapper can dry out the latex.
thanks for the info. yeah- I heard about the wallet thing. When I was little, I kept wet naps in my wallet because i thought they were cool. However, they got squeezed so many times by my sitting that there was no moisture remaining when I went to use 'em. I don't want the same for my condoms. I'll just make some funny balloon animals with 'em and then throw them out. Better safe than sorry.
