Ahoy … Why was the 'dreads=prick?' thread closed?

Hmm, to get more to the point, is it just me or is there something really unsettling about a thread being closed because peeps openly express themselves … and closed with no explanation either?

Sure, if it’s a one-on-one, then it makes sense that it can be done off list, but why would a thread be closed before other peeps even have a chance to respond?

When Hip Forums is googled, the first result that pops up is ‘Hip Forums - 400+ Free Speech Forums’.

In a world where political leaders and financial elites do everything they can to silence and manipulate the populations, isn’t it ironic that peeps would willingly further restrict themselves?

Maybe the thread was closed because it turned into people washing their dirty laundry in public? I agree with the moderators on that move, nothing good would have come out of this thread.

It should have stayed up,there are a lot of assholes on here who like to just come on and make fun of people, thats all they do, and yet all there dumb threads stay on. Makes no sense to me that dreads=pricks was taken off,even if it was venting thread.

It's pretty confusing as to which insults are acceptable and which insults are not.

Does it have something to do with who is being insulted, or who is doing the insulting perhaps?

I don't know ...

But on the level, I'm not having a go at anyone, it's more just an ongoing concern as to what and where we as people, on this planet, are going and ... well, that's about it. What are we buying in to here?

Are you saying that I am new here? Yeah... I've been on this site for more than 8 years... so that is not true at all.

Anyway... the drama here can be fun, but it can also be kind of a drag. Sometimes I love reading it and sometimes I love participating. But sometimes I just want it to go away. I guess it all depends on mood.
