Freebase DPT

Who here has freebased DPT and how similar would it be from doing freeze precipitated naptha pulls from DMT, because my friend who is regularly doing that with DMT is offering to do a naptha pull with DPT to freebase it, so I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to have him freebase 500 mgs of it, since I have 1500 mg of it in total anyways lol.

 

Im not sure, but I really want to freebase it as well. Im going to take it orally with an MAOI, just gotta order the syrian rue.

 

Damn I forgot to mention, I did a 30 mg dose today, BUT I only took it to see if I had an alergic reaction or anything like that, its always good to check. I smoked a bowl ontop of it 5 minutes in (I've been smoking more recently) and it seemed extremely intense in a GREAT way and I cannot wait to do higher doses, but not the only thing is that damn drip. The drip was extremely painful and irratable on my throat and really hurt just on 30 mg, so I can't wait till I can smoke it. Hopefully smoking will give just a good result as smoking 200 mg doses will?

 

Hopefully smoking DPT would provide a superior effect over snorting as the case is with 5-meo-dmt I hear.

 

I have said this many times, and I will say it again. You WONT be aware of a drip on 200.

 

Even if you can't feel it, you can't neglect the damage that would be doing to your nasal system. I might be able to obtain a needle within the next week or two, however if I don't I will simply just toughen out and snort a high dose, and no more questions from me lol.

Once you do DPT, you'll laugh at how much of a fuss you put up about the nose thing. Trust me.

It's like denying yourself 100 million dollars because the bag is kinda heavy.

 

Damage to your nasal system? How do you figure? Granted, it's not a "good" idea to put anything up there, but it seems like DPT is one of the safe compounds for insufflation.

 

Anyone know if there's a specific tek for turning the HCL of DPT into freebase? Would you be kind enough to post a link, thanks.

I wonder how much of a superior/worse effect smoking it would give compared to snorting.

 

Conversion of Hcl salt to freebase:
2g of DPT Hcl was dissolved in 150ml of water. It was difficult to get the crystals to go into solution and it required a small amount of heat. Be careful not to apply too much heat, as DPT is very heat sensitive. Once the DPT was in solution the water mixture was added to a separatory funnel and ammonia hydroxide was then added dropwise to basify. After each drop I swirled the mixture to distribute the ammonia evenly, observing a white cloud of freebase forming out of solution. When it reached a ph 8-9, I added 75ml of chloroform. This mixture was swirled and thoroughly shaken for about 5-10 minutes with the chloroform layer settling on the bottom. The chloroform extraction was then poured off and saved in a flask. This process was repeated 3 more times, with each extraction requiring additional ammonia hydroxide to keep the ph level at 8-9. The last extraction was left to sit for 5 hours just to make sure that all of the DPT was recovered from the water solution. The combined chloroform extractions were then evaporated in a baking dish leaving a semi-clear-white DPT freebase oil behind. 2g of finely ground dried parsley was added to the baking dish and scraped and thoroughly mixed with a razor blade until the parsley was completely saturated. The mixture was still somewhat sticky but relatively easy to handle. It was then placed in a glass vial for easy use and storage.

I think so. The molecule is very similar to the DMT molecule so you could be punished under the federal analogue act or whatever. Im not sure.

 

Yea technically it's an analogue but no one who wasn't selling / distributing has ever been charged (or is it convicted?) on the basis of that law.

 

And your snort it?
Is there any way to just eat it? Or is it not effective that way?

 

You can take it orally, but it requires a much higher dose to get to that space. Im considering taking it in combination with an MAOI, I know cannabissoul either did this, or is going to do it soon.

 

To be honest, I'm actually afraid to try it, especially after reading some of Mr. Writer's earlier trip reports where he said it could be rough on your heart and he even had a fear of dying from a heart attack.

 

The only thing to be afraid of is fear itself. If you do it, you will be fine.
