Found out husband is in the hospital

Found out my husband is in the hospital last night.He was shot in the shoulder and going to live.He was called to a domestic violence situation which the boyfriend had a gun which there was a gun fight.He hit the suspect in the left arm.Another cop came up and said this to me after he knocked on the door and opened it up.I was thete last and visited him this morning.Good thing is the suspect will be charged with 2 counts of attempted murder too on top of the domestic violence charges. Shot and wounded another cop.

Not going back to work yet for at least 3 months.They did get the bullet out missing an artery.I want to see justice for what happened to my husband.

The guy whom shot my husband has mental health issues

 

Any violence is unacceptable.

Our country is basically lawless.

It is against the to shoot, stab or otherwise harm another person.

We have become a very sick nation. Kids are shooting kids. Adults shoot kids. People get mad and shoot their spouse or police officers.

I think we have a mental fitness emergency across America.

I seen the aftermath of road rage that left one dead and several injured.

Anything can be a weapon. We need to address violence across America

 

I was 100% and I am so sorry for you and your husband. Police have it really tough.

I do have a CPL which I can legally carry. Exception is if in self defense which I had to last year. A guy tried to beat the crap out of me and had no choice, got away with him going after me with a knife. Being a Marine veteran, shooting skills came in handy shooting and killing him with one shot

 

I am so sorry to hear this news. Hoping him a speedy recovery as well as you and the family comfort and peace.
