short people are more down to earh. my mom was 4'8" when i was born. my dad was 5'1". the only had been a child star i've ever met was a fairly substatial older woman who had in her later adult life been a forign ambassidor. - i grew up in a small town that was not all that remote, it was right on the freeway and the railroad, but it was more then 50 miles from the nearest city. people who want to be treated like people without all the b.s. of notariety have a tendency to live in them. - i know i would.

you didn't offend me. i LIKE being short. i think harlan ellison and jery brown do too. however much milage ellison was getting out of his annoyance with short jokes back in the 80s. your speculation is an interesting one. diet and genetics seem to have more to do with hight then lifestyle. the appearance of ageing on the other hand, people who consume mass quantities of alcohaul, and or live highly stressful lives (whether by their own choice or not) tend to look ten years older then anyone their same age who does not. this i have seen with my own eyes and virtualy without exception.
yeah, i think for some, especially the girls, the drive to stay thin and pretty, as well as to some extent for the boys, keeps them from an adequate diet growing up. you see some of their family, and their family is tall, and you ahve to wonder why the star-kid isn't. too much hard work, not enough nutrition, can stunt your growth.

That is what I think, too. I bet they start drinking coffee young, which I heard stunts your growth, and I think you grow mostly while you sleep, and they aren't allowed to sleep.
