Formaldehyde?

Ok, first off, I know formaldehyde and pcp are not the same thing.

I work at a pet store and we have a storage room where they keep formaldehyde to disinfect fish tanks. I have read mixed stories about people dipping cigs in actual formaldehyde. I have a friend who said he tried it and it works.

Now I won't be paying for the stuff, so I figure I could try it and if I don't like it, throw the rest away.

I'm probably going to get a bunch of "you're a dumbass" comments but I figure I might as well ask here first. I already know formaldehyde is carcinogenic but I have been smoking cigs alone for quite some time now and I figure a one time thing wouldn't hurt me any more.

Anyone hear of any stories of formaldehyde actually working or having any kind of intoxicating properties?

Yes, it is psychoactive. I know people that have done it, and said it was amazing. Extreme euphoria and such. It IS neuro toxic so be careful. I dont think I personally would do it, but a few friends of mine enjoy it alot.

 

Called "arp" "orp" "erp" or somthin ain't it? My spelling ain't that great. Out west I think I've heard of it more. Could be totally wrong.

 

If you enjoy being dead, go for it. If thats euphoric enough for you that is.

 

is formaldehyde, involming fluid? swim tried a pinner joint dipped in something called involming fluid, i mean (Pinner joint) it was green liquid and tasted like death. three puffs, and swim was gone... throwing up, couldn't move, just stupified. swim never tried again aftr that. swiy can try it but for sure, swiy will hate the taste.

 

im pretty sure that anyone talking about using actual formeldahyde to get high is not very smart. they use it to preserve corpses so it will probably have the same effects on the brain, pure destruction.

 

ok i asked that question like a long ass time ago. i didnt get pure formeldehyde. it was like some fish tank cleaner that has some formeldehyde in it. i dipped a cigarette into a tiny bit of it and let it dry. then i smoked it. nothing too spectacular. just got a little dizzy.

 

those would actually be opposite effects

I usta have to breath farmeldahyde fumes at this job i had usta get puffs of it in the face when wed open these ovens that cooked plastic up. It burns your eyes and makes you cough like shit.....not to mention the MSDS says fermaldahyde fumes can kill you.

 

If you smoke this, you should just save yourself the time and inject cyanide.

Seriously, formaldehyde? If you're really that desperate to get high, maybe drugs aren't the right scene for you.
Like someone said before, it's meant to preserve dead bodies. Why the hell would you want to experiment with shit like that?
