    you lie there
    exhausted from
    emotion withheld

    blame hangs in the air
    like a note...
    unfinished

    in the confusion
    there is love still
    in darkness, light

    I hold open my hand
    and let your blame
    rest upon it

    I could blow it away
    but I don't
I accept it, as it is

    and in my eyes
    there is love still
    and in my heart, grace

It's tense, but ... I think it would be tenser if you were more subtle. Leave some things half said? Maybe give an idea about what it is that the blame is for, or the nature of the crime. Is it petty or important?
