Forest Gump!...

...Is still the best movie ever! Years after watching it for the first time when it first came out on tape, I still think of it with fond memories!

Its such a classic and Tom Hanks is great. I even think he is at his best. The supporting actors are unforgettable too. It made me cry when his mom died and maybe even one or two other times, the first time I saw it - Its been so long but I will admit I cried at least once, laughed my ass off at least once and thought very hard at least once and enjoyed it throughout.

yeah, I remember that, and hes talking about his son...that was so sad. It was such a convincing movie. So emotional for a scorpio dude, haha.

Brilliant. Why is Tom Hanks so darn cool? Just the other day I was watching Philadelphia, and his performance in that film gets me EVERY time.

 

Yeah Forest Gump has always been one of my favs. Everytime I watch it I get something new out of it. For some reason its a movie I feel compelled to watch every couple of months. 2 thumbs up!

 

i love forrest gump. great movie, and forrest is by far one of the most loveable movie characters, ever. who doesn't love him???

FG is a wonderful movie! It's been far too long since I've watched it! And, of course, the soundtrack and setting add a lot to the story as well! I always wondered, though, would Gump have really been drafted with his disability? I sure hope not!

The first time I saw it was in 8th grade when it had just come out on video and they played it in class. I was the only one actually watching the movie while everyone else was writing notes or something. I loved it! It's one of my favorites....it never gets old. Tom Hanks is AMAZING as always.

 

Great movie, the Vietnam War scenes are supposedly very realistic to what it was actually like.

 

So glad no one really milked this movie like they do to spiderman or blair witch or what not. Kinda wished for a sequal for a while but maybe the hype would have been to much.

How do you guys feel about a sequal?

That movie is the best movie of all time. I can rember what I was doing each time I watched it.

 

there'd be nowhere to take the sequel. unless it went with a story of forrest jr. which would be too late, since hailey joel osmant is already way older, now.

i bought it a couple weeks ago from the flea market, and i swear, i've watched it at least 10 times since!

Forrest Gump has been my favourite movie for years.
Nothing beats it.
The actors, the soundtrack, how it all pieces together, the emotions, the hippies, everything. LOOOOVE IT to pieces. I love Tom hanks.

 

Its kinda odd cause the first time I saw the movie, I wasn't into classic rock yet. I don't remember what i thought of the music, maybe I just thought it was hippie music. But seeing it a little while ago after getting into classic rock, made me appreciate the movie on yet another level. Very good music indeed.
