omg, I am on a roll! lol Since my kids are still out of town, I have all sorts of time! Yay! I started this one yesterday and finished it today. I am happy with it. The main fabric is thin wale corduroy. :)

The fairy is tattooed too :p

The ruffle, lining and tie used to be those vintage curtains I scored at the thrift shop last week.

I spy your thrift store find. They look so much better as a skirt. :D

I thought so too! :) You can cut them so you have a strip of mountain range or a strip of trees..or a lake. They are just too freakin cool!

    I love it!

I tried to do an apron skirt but it just wouldn't lie right on my body. The holes where I fed the ties through just weren't right. And I thought it was so easy! How do you do it properly?

What holes are you talking about? Maybe you are thinking of a wrap skirt..? For the apron skirts, it is just like a skirt that isn't closed at the back and ties. Nothin fancy ;) In the last pic, you can see it laying on the ground.
