I adore this album (by Tangerine Dream-forgot to add that to the thread title!). Are there any other electronic/rock albums out there that have the same kind of spacey feel to it?
I have this on vinyl ^_^ Not sure what you are looking for in comparison, I mean, modern day ambient is sort of close imo. Maybe try some Zoe Magik stuff or Symbiosis (domestic recordings) http://www.discogs.com/artist/Symbiosis , or Young American Primitive, or Hardkiss/Rabbit in the Moon classics for some head trip.
