The governments going to give the banks trillions more so that they will loan us money.
its up to us as americans to borrow this money even if we cant afford to and its up to the banks to lend us the money even if we cant afford to pay it back..

am i missing something or is that not what got us into this mess to begin with??

What make you think the banks won’t be more responsible this time
by actually checking the accuracy of the credit applications and the
employment status of the applicants

the fact that they're getting money either way, and they can write off the losses on this cycle because it's not their money.

Well it's the belief of some that everyone should have a right to a piece
of the pie until it’s consumed

nah, I just figure I can see where the chips fall and hit a nation that doesn't collapse.

    or collapses an acceptable amount

or a third world country where it really doesn't matter how much a dollar is worth :)

No, it's what got us into the mess, but it was also intentionally done by creating so much easy credit for so long and promoting a materialistic and decadent culture that encouraged such extravagance.

I have a relative who died about six months ago. He had about 15 grand of debt in credit cards and bank loans when he died and his credit wasn't good when he was getting those cards and loans.

His household is still receiving mail from banks for more credit card offers and for pre-approved $5000 loans to him, 6 months after he is dead and while the creditors are trying to get the money back from the old bad loans and credit cards.

That was a symptom of the problem, not the cause.

It's the result of fractional reserve banking/lending. It allows the banks to lend money they don't have.

The Federal Reserve system/scam is the ultimate culprit.

Yeah, basically what he was saying is that the banks need to free up more credit so people can rack up even more debt and dig themselves an even deeper hole. You never hear him addressing what happens to the money when you keep printing that money up out of nothing.

i couldnt make it to the end . we switched it off in the middle, there was 0 substance and his narcissistic demeanor was just to much for me to handle.

but yeah i was reading the commentary on another board and everyone said when he walked past hillary at the end she looked like she was gonna kill him..

interestingly enough she looked quite happy and was all smiles when she entered before the speech..maybe she loathes his attitude as much as i do?

and whats up with all his "you da man" finger pointing?? god i hate this guy..

i saw about 6 close ups of her during the speach and not once was she smiling, she looked pisssssssssssssssssssed!!
the only reason i kept watching was in hopes of her snapping...which would've been priceless!!
(i will say i had a hard time getting through to the end too...there were a few times where i was sure i was going to puke)

every mofo in there had a -narcissistic my shit don't stink, can't believe im here listening to this cause i know he's lying-
    condescending bull shit smile

i couldn't believe they were able to conceal their laughter at certain points of the speach...

I do give them credit for that

I saw it. He is a good speaker but there were so many distorted facts. I've been looking them up all morning.

We recorded it so we could watch it late at night....Well, it lulled me to sleep.

We watched it streaming on the web... First time i have watched a speech like that. Is there always that much hoopla when announcing all his little ushers, cabinets, group of whatever the fuck they were and the first woman thing entering n then him? Is there always that much cheering from the congress critters upon his entering ? It all seemed too much like a bunch of fans at a rock concert rather than a presidential speech announcing how shitty our world is right now and *cough* how the govt is going to get us out of it. Turned my stomach...
