for those of you---college related

for those of you who went to, are currently in, or are planning on going to college/university:

what did you major in? did you have a minor? were you a double major?

 

I'm going on university this year, starting on Monday the 6th. And it's a Faculty of Social Sciences I I'm like a triple major - first semester - psychology, economics and sociology, the second semester history, anthropology, philosophy
Minor: something english related ...

 

i'm currently majoring in sociology and minoring in psychology, but wish to reverse this

 

I double majored in Environmental Geography and Anthropology/Archaeology

I worked in related fields until I was about 28

 

I did anthropology and development studies for my BA, and now I'm in grad school doing anthropology of development and human rights.

 

I'm in med school. 2nd year.

 

English major, Writing minor.

Damn me.

 

started off as a environmental science major. hated that, mainly i hated learning about rocks

switched to economics. then they got rid of economics as a major, so i switched to business mgmt w/ focus on financial economics.
now i hate it and wish i did something i loved - something sports science related

 

wtf? what kind of school doesnt have economics as a major? where do you go again?

 

Ooooh...I wanted to study that. It was my 3rd option. You know, just in case I don't get into med school.

 

Communication/Journalism/Public Relations major

 

philosophy - applied ethics.

 

small school, not too much interest in economics as a major = bumped down into a minor

i was pissed. it happened on my semester off. so i come back to find out i have to change majors once again...take mgmt classes i wasn't going to have to take....blah blah blah...they didn't let me grandfather in because they stopped offering the higher level econ classes

 

i just couldn't take all the geology classes i had to take...rocks rocks and more fucking rocks

 

I'm a liberal arts major.... I wish I knew what I wanted to do.

 

Religion major, focusing on Religion and conflict

I might get a minor or i might just have emphasis in Middle Eastern Politics and Arabic

 

Psychology major... and maybe a minor soon.

 

Holistic Health

Going back to school for Culinary Arts

 

going to art college in 2-3 years, probably for something like illustration

 

you should major in BS then, because it sounds like they offer a lot of that:cheers2:
