As someone who would love the hippie ideal of a home birth, but will likely never be allowed one for medical reasons, I loved this article. It is a beautiful reminder that birthing is a powerful force that affects us all--regardless of how ideal or non-ideal our births progressed.

I had my water broken too early, was put on PIT and then had to have a c-section because my daughter's heartrate was too fast.
Thank you so much for sharing this article - it's easy to get discouraged about your birth-story when it doesn't go quite to plan.
But instead I choose to focus on my beautiful, healthy daughter who was the ultimate result, and I am content.

same exact thing happened to me, that was scary wasn't it? I was begging them to not cut me but you know what, I can barely see the scar now. It may have been scary but it was a quick delivery!
