Either they try and sex it up, when you just know at home they still have 100 stuffed toys in their bedroom and go on tour with their mom or its the crazy vegan emo route. These are the role models.

This is quite a cool video. All her music has been recorded in her brother's bedroom and he is as essential to her songs as she is. He seems nice and he is aware and grateful for his privileges. I think even if it's not everyone's thing, what they've done is authentic, and that sounds good to me.

 

Have you ever heard Lil Peep? I think he was one of the pioneers of the Emo Rap thing. I couldn't tell you any of his songs but it's got a decent vibe if you're into emo stuff.

The home they grew up in...those are the sort of people i've always gravitated towards and the homes I always felt most at home visiting...humble, creative, interesting. I want to go hang out with him in their living room for a few hours

Their home reminds me of a friend I had in school. Their whole family played bluegrass, her dad played at the Grand Ole Opry once. And i always loved going to her house, it was filled with instruments
