thats not true.. but yeah,, first rule of bein a hippie,. resist telivision. weve been tv free since 1993.
The hippy movement wasn't a grassroots movement like so many people think it is. It was invented by old men in white coats at the Tavistock Institute, then promoted by the media while every college campus across the country was flooded with LSD, which was manufactured and used by the CIA for mind control purposes. The whole hippy movement was designed to create a cultural and spirtual shift, away from so-called "Judeo-Christian" culture and values, towards the coming "NEW AGE"/one-world religion, where we will all live in unity as one and everyone will love their neighbor unconditionally. (At least that's how it's sold to the public.) And we truly will all be "one" once they start chipping people, because nobody will have any free-will or ability to think for themselves whatsoever. But no, I am waaaayyyy off. Shut up Pressed_Rat, you stupid conspiracy weirdo. Everything is normal and as it should be, fool. Go back to drinking your diet Coke and watching your football.
i'm watching/recording it right now. the first commercial break just came on, and it was: "Hippies... brought to you by AARP." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... that can't be just coincidence.
my momma is dvring it for me. ill have to wait until wednesday to watch it though cuz i have to work from 3:30 until 10:00 tomorrow. but i'm pumped to have a job, finally.
Oooh, woops. I so didn't see this topic eariler, or I woulda just posted here. I really like how they told the good side of the effects of the movement at the end, and how it relates to today...though alot of those things have just turned into doing it just to be cool, it's better than nothing I guess. And does anyone know where I could get more video of Kesey and the Pranksters?
I believe much of that espiecially the lsd part as I've read some good books about the real "purpose" of lsd back then.
if its on television it's probably bullshit. damd near everything that's on it ever is. and not very artistic or gratifying bullshit either. =^^= .../\...
