Hello! I made a post titled - bragging about your pets on the Pet Forum a while back and figure it would only be fair to do a little bragging about my kids. And I also thought that it would be interesting to hear other parents do a little bragging about their kids.

The wife and I raised two boys they are now 21 & 23. Our oldest boy has made his own spending money since he was 8 years old. (paper boy - errands cutting lawns est.) He is now an apprentice cheese chief with a rapidly growing company that knows the value of human capital.

(so he will properly retire there)

Our youngest son didn’t start making his own spending money until he was 15. He made his money by putting out the hat and doing a little break dancing or juggling with his buddy Carl. Our son and his buddy Carl were also the team goons for a winning field lacrosse team. (sort of like the Hanson brothers of lacrosse) Unfortunately they both got into crime to make a little spending money. And luckily they sucked at that and got caught all the time. Carl now drives a dump truck and our youngest son works on the killing floor of a meat plant in Alberta. The company he works for is also rapidly growing but they don’t know the value of human capital so I don’t think he will retire there. Cheers!

I definitely want to brag about my kids. They are all daughters, ages (16-28). They all live away from their original home with us (momanddad), and four live together and work together. They are all very loving and caring, intelligent and inquisitive, are self motivated learners, independent and confident, reasonable and responsible, have much common sense, are thoughtful, kind, energetic, sensitive and empathetic, good listeners, team players, earth and environment lovers, attentive mothers and caregivers, health conscious, creative and imaginative, music and art participants, lovers of life, lovers of themselves, and lovers of their PARENTS.....THATS SOMETHING TO BRAG ABOUT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't get over how positively great my kids are. Everytime I think of them I get all warm and glowy. They are all so funny too. Their humor is so down home, and every time I am around them I laugh so hard my face hurts.

Three of them are under 20 and yet are so responsible. They help look after their older sisters little children, and run a successful business together, and pay rent, and have grown into very independent young women. They are quite a team and have learned to work so well together.

My second born girl is living in California and is so sweet and smart and thoughtfull, and has a good life in the mountains with her partner. She takes classes in martial arts, yoga, bellydancing, and is very academic and studies many different things online, and is a very globally conscious young adult.

I am now 54, and my children are all living away from home, and I am so content now, and so satisfied with mothering and my childbearing years, and now see that the years of investment as a full time parent have definitely paid off, and they are the
" Greatest Kids in the Universe". Am I proud or what ???????

I have to brag to. I have 2 of the greatest kids ever. My girl Angel Arranwynn (3) and my boy Ashton Cole (6). They are the sweetest kids I konw. They are just so full of love. I am raising them by myself but when I go out to gatherings I dont feel so alone, there they have 50 mom's and dad's. They love to go to gatherings. And I'm so happy that I chose to raise them in the woods. They are alot kinder than other kids, I'm not just being crazy they really are. They really are filled with love. And they are all the time giving stuff away. Ashton really likes tradin stuff. They are sooo smart to. I think that all the traveling that we do gave them intellegence that other kids miss. Anyway I just had to brag, since you gave me the cahnce.
    Thanks,
Sweet Pea, Angel loo, and my fire child Ashton

My oldest son gets us cheese at a quarter of the cost of store cheese. And my youngest son is going to bring some Alberta beef to this summer’s barbeque. Also it was enjoyable reading the threads. Cheers!

Hello! My oldest son has being seeking the truth about UFOs and government cover-ups for about 5 years now. About a year ago he started getting sick and tired of hearing his girlfriend tell him he was wasting his time - and he should start trusting Governments. One day he told us that he was going to tell his girlfriend that their relation ship would never work out because she belittled his believes. Plus he kind of thought she was naive or stupid to trust Governments. They had “the talk” and happily a little while after that she started finding him Web links that blew his mind. (She’s a goggle search expert and a keeper!)

The story about my youngest sons principals also has a happy ending but a scary beginning.

When he was 17 he was prepared to stand in front of a Judge and take all charges so he wouldn’t have to rat on his friends. As a father I had mixed emotions about it because I knew they were going to make an example and crucify my boy.

Turned out there was a paperwork goof up so they couldn’t charge him with nothing but that’s not the happy ending. He has been living and working in Albert with his girlfriend for 3 years now. (She’s a keeper too) Cheers!

When I came home yesterday my wife told me that our son had called to say that he had a surprise phone call from Mandy. Who was a girl that adopted our eldest son as a big brother when she was 7 and he was 10. And she couldn’t have made a better choice of a adopted big brother because our eldest son kept a good protective eye on her until the day she was taken out of her home and the community and placed in a foster home when she was 15. But 7 years - and one kid later - she tracked down our son to say she and her kid were doing OK, she wanted to get her life back on track and could use a good talk with her adopted big brother. I got a felling that Mandy and her child will do well partly because she has my son to talk to again. Cheers!

Hello! I have just about smoked up all of the bud that I grew last outdoor season – so for the next 4-5 months I will have to buy my pot. Were the bragging starts is the first bag I buy will be through my eldest son who scored me a half ounce of bud for $40. Were the bragging gets deeper is when I grew pot for fun and profit my two sons never ripped me off – plus they kept an eye on their friends to make sure I didn’t get ripped off. They weren’t heat scores ether they knew how to keep a family secret. In the 8 years that I grew commercially I was never busted or ripped off and in part I thank my 2 sons. Cheers!
