The outer part of my left big toe has the tendency to dig in, and a little cotton shoved in there usually stops that, but last night it was hurting like hell so I cut down the side of the nail and took a pair of needle nose pliers to rip out the offending sliver of nail by the root. Youch!!! It bled a little but instant relief and it feels almost like normal already. So if anyone needs minor surgery I can bring over my little scissors and needle-nose pliers and fix you right up.
When I was about 11, a girl had to explain to me what an ingrown toenail was that her dad had, and I told her it sounded like a stupid thing to have, and I still believe that.
my left thumb nail doesn't grow in correctly anymore...i chopped it apart with a hatchet cutting some fire wood up..cut right through the left part of the nail and the skin...it looks fine, but if i let it grow for too long, the skin overlaps the nail and the nail digs in...and then i have to cut the skin off then the nail...so i don't let it get that bad
my left long finger nail is damaged and deformed - actually, so's the finger, a bit - from when I was 16 and tried to help my teacher with a television set in class (for one of those cool movies) and the fucker tipped over and fell, squished my hand between the TV and a desk that was conveniently located right in front of it. now it just looks kind of ugly and the nail gets really thick. I guess it wants to protect itself for future incidents.
When I was 14, I was at this girl's house getting frisky and I threw her on her parent's bed, and somehow she landed on my hand to peel the ringfinger's nail back at the root. Talk about a mood killer My nail is still a little wrinkly
Hahhaah well t hey look pretty normal except im missing like 2 knuckles on each hand and my middle fingers are both short !
