I avoid cooking most of the time I LOVE neon orange 'cheeses' such as nacho cheese, mac'n'cheese, and cheese chips I really don't like vegan 'meats and cheeses' except TVP and the original gardenburger (I love that I can make it in the toaster) I really like Fish and I'm considering making it a big part of my diet. (right now I just keep cans of tuna around for when I get the crazy protien cravings) I've never even tried quinoa
i tell people that i am allergic to mushrooms so they wont use them in food that they are serving me reason being that mushrooms are gross and disgusting
eggs, eggs, cooked eggs and raw eggs but not so guilty as they're not factory chickens also, white rice [have shifted my center considerably to the left]
I tell waiters/ waitresses I'm allergic to dairy/eggs so they don't feed me any processed fake animal products worry me I like the smell of BBQs... And some other cooked meats... I'm a little addicted to food...
I love sweets a bit too much, especially chocolate. Usually, my best recipes take 20 minutes or less to prepare and contain a maximum of 5 ingredients. I prefer to have several small snacks throughout the day than 3 big meals. I LOVE cheese!
I dont like chocolate, doesnt really do anything for me. Tofu is pure evil, should never have been invented. I find I can cook way better than most chics, which is sexist, but still surprises me the number that are useless in the kitchen. I dont understand ready made stock or packet gravy when the real thing is so easy and tastes so much better. I cant stand eggs, find that totally feral, basically eating chicken abortions.
I made quinoa today so I can cross that off my list. One cup of that stuff and I haven't felt hungry all night. Good deal.
I ate prawns today. It's the first time I've eaten shellfish in about 8 years. They were pretty delicious and as someone on a gluten free diet, I think it's the right thing for me. I don't want to touch fishy fish, but shellfish are back, probably to stay. Had em on a goat's cheese salad with Italian dressing. Yum
Have you tried Amaranth? I eat both quinoa and amaranth quite regularly. I'd say amaranth is even more filling. It has more protein than quinoa and some different minerals and such, its only downside is that it takes at least 45 mins to prepare but it is extraordinarily nice with a spoonful of honey!
I dislike cooking actually, I would rather have someone else cook, I'll do ALL the cleaning up after the meal....:-D
Farmout that's the agreement I made with my husband, I cook, he cleans. It's beyond perfect! I like to become creative and use weird ingredients in my recipes, such as Coca Cola and ketchup for my BBQ glaze and pop corn as a topping on soups.
