I'm wondering about flushable kitty litter. Is it better to flush flushable natural kitty litter or toss it in the trash? It is certified flushable, but I have read a few things that says that the cat feces adds to water polution. This also makes me wonder isn't human feces also adding to water polution? I understand the whole toxoplasmosis thing with cat feces, but I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight about which would be better for the environment. Using all natural biodegradable cat litter and tossing it in the trash -or- using all natural biodegradable flushable cat litter and flushing it? Thanks for your imput!
how about using natural kitty litter and composting it? if your flushing it it seems to me it would cloge your septic system, or tax already over burdend wastwaer treatment plants, not to mention its a wast of potable water!
Well since its right next to the toilet I wait until the toilet is actually being used to clean the litter box... As for composting it I live in an apartment, I don't think I really have anywhere to do that. Thanks for your imput!
use all natural biodegradable cat litter and throw it away instead because flushing it will just fill your septic faster..
