fixing a dread

    anyone have any suggestions on how to fix a patch of hair at the root? i have this one dread towards the back on my head thats root is a big lump and then thins downward. what should i do?

    I have the same thing, were i ripped it , and its thick and then realy thin and shtiy,,, I put a rap around mine, lol and rid it. now the raps comin out im leavin it, the top is growing so it will become longer and nicer i hope. Is it short or long?

    the thick top part of it is short but the dread is long

    well that should be ok. my thick part is about a inch and the thin parts about 3 inches, or a spinderly bit of usles hair, so im letting it grow
