Five Reasons Kerry Should Be Elected Instead Of Bush

Okay here's the thing. My friend is completely pro-bushwhacker and she told me to give her five good reasons why Bush shouldn't be re-elected, then she will vote for Kerry. I want to give her the absolute BEST reasons why he should be out of office, and I know that you guys all have very good reasons, I just want to hear what they are.

Well that kind of depends on what your friend's like, you know, what would she consider good reasons... like, I think one good reason to boot Bush is because he caters to the religious right, but some people would find that good. I think Bush screwed us over by going into Iraq, but some people will still support the war.

Over 10,000 Iraqis + the 1000 Americans all died because Bush lied. There was never a threat to us from Iraq. I think he simply lied so his billionaire friends could steel their oil.

Bush’s first act as President was to end funding for research of alternative energies thus making us more dependant on Middle Eastern Oil. Not too bright!

A few cells in a dish simply cannot be called a human being. It never will be a human being. Bush and his advisors are straight out of the 16th century. They ignore all scientific fact when he placed a ban on stem-cell research.. Countless lives could be saved if he would lift this insane ban.

I just read (on yahoo news) that global warming is occurring much faster than scientist had originally thought. Bush says that there isn’t enough scientific evidence that global warming even exists. Over 98% of scientist disagrees with him. Either Bush, a former alcoholic, is right or 98% of the scientists are right. I tend to believe the scientist. Most of the pollutants that and presently creating global warming come from the US. If he had increased funding for alternative fuels instead of cutting it, we would be on our way to a saver and cleaner environment.

Kerry not only understands the problems with the environment, he has a solution.

Bush and his wealthy friends have plundered our nations wealth. Corporate theft during the Bush Administration is no coincidence. These are the people who paid for his campaign.

What we needed is a real health care system and a secure social security program that will be around when you need it. Not a tax cut for a few billionaires.

Our civil liberties are eroding and Bush has plans to take away more. Imagine police taking you away in the middle of the night and you are never seen again. Maybe someone overheard you say something that is anti Bush or you were photographed standing next to someone on their list. This happens in some countries and it could happen here too.

Bush will appoint 2 or 3 Supreme Court judges in his second term. This will change everything!!

Our national forest and even our national monument have been given to the powerful timber industry.

These are just a few of the many reasons why I am voting for John Kerry.

2 bungling of the 'war on terror' he only sent 11,000 troops into afghanistan, allowed bin laden to excape, wasted valuable resources and manpower (not to mention lives) on the whole Iraq escapade.
3 the very secretive nature of the administration. Clinton atleast was publicly grilled, bush met in secret with the 9-11 commission, Cheny won't release his energy task force meetings (see 1)

9. I saw in the washington post yesterday that militiamen in Sudan are raping women in an effort to genocide people, i don't know what bush has to do with this, but i have my suspcisions. ;|

News flash! Bush is a big reason why the world hates America, or at least why they hate America at the increased level they do now. Not saying that they'll start lovin' us should Kerry take over, but it's pretty hard to top what Bush has done.

No, the world hated America loooooong before Bush showed up. Just because we were too young to see it firsthand dosen't mean it didn't happen. Why do they hate us? America is a big, fat, rich, self-centered, ignorant bunch of ungrateful morons and no president, liberal or conservative, will change that. ME: and something that i do agree with is Bush's religious beliefs but there is a lot more that matters when it comes to running a country

ME: AND she has healthcare benefits, but she might as well not even have any considering she has a 150 dollar deductible before she can get any prescription medication if she is sick... meaning if her prescription costs over 150 dollars, she has to pay 150 dollars out of pocket so that she can get better
