    1. To refrain from taking the breath of a living being.
    2. To refrain from taking what is not given.
    3. To refrain from sexual misconduct.
    4. To refrain from incorrect speech.
    5. To refrain from taking intoxicants which lead to lack of mindfulness.
There is alot of room for these precepts to be misinterpreted and abused due to the lack of detail.

What exactly is Sexual Misconduct? I can ask the same about "Incorrect Speech".

Does anyone care to break it down for me?

    Namaste, John.

I don't know that I'd be able to properly break that down but I thyink much has to do with intent and respect. Filter each of those five through those two concepts and you get your answer.
