I posted this on a bunch of other threads then realized my dumbass should just start one myself. I've never shot up anything and want to try it. I want to shoot dilaudid or oxy's. I have a tolerance so I'm not concerned about OD-ing, but I have no idea what kind of needle to use or even how to go about doing it. What needle gauge do I need and how many cc's? Can I get them at a CVS? Can anyone help? Keep in mind step by step info would be best. Oh yeah if anyone has anything about don't do it or anything like that thanks but I'm gonna try at least once just to see what the hypes all about so save the "say no to drugs" SHIT!!! However good info would be much appreciated.
Oh yeah by the way I did manage to get a 10 pack of syringes at the cvs by my house. It says 1/2cc for 50 units or less. The have a 1/2" needle length and are 30 gauge [I guess needle width]. I think there too small and I don't want to go back to the pharmacy and ask for another pack until I'm sure I know what to ask for. I got enough dirty looks the first time. I said the were for insulin use and on the bag it says ultra fine needle so I think the needle head might be to small to use for dilaudid or oc's. It cant be this fuckin hard to get the right size needles. If not at CVS, then were. I know this is a lot of info I'm asking for, but I just want make sure I do this right. Also no one ever got in trouble for giving directions [at least not for this kind of info].
oh, I replied to you on the "vein problem" thread. Basically, check out erowid's "needle basics," though you probably can't return an open pack of needles...if you don't want to go back to CVS, go to the grocery store or wherever else there is a pharmacy and just say, "10 [or box of] 1/2 cc, 28 gauge insulin syringes, please" or whatever other specifications you want. Give them a smile and if they give you dirty looks, fuck 'em. Diabetes is a bitch and if they want to assume sketchiness, they'll think whatever they want and you can leave their judgemental asses behind...
