Well, I'm on birth control for non-sexual reasons, and so we weren't using a condom. If we do, and it's lubricated, that will probably be a significant advantage, but it still felt like it just wasn't going to go in, whether conditions were... favorable or not. hey chica- get some astroglide, because taking birth control can sometimes affect your ability to produce sufficient natural lube, (and use a condom ALWAYS, unless you have both been tested-preferrably at least twice since it can take as long as six months for something to show-even longer-and with you having broken skin, it's so much safer!!) and spend A LOT of time on it.... definitely have him finger you to loosen it up-and make sure you are really aroused, because even though it will hurt, you'll be enjoying it too much to care.... and have patience-if you've ever been able to use a tampon you shouldn't be worried about him not being able to get in... when it's all over, make sure you pee, and even rinse yourself with a bit of water-like in a pitcher or cup that you have by the toilet, and use mild soap for the next couple of days to prevent irritation and the chance of an infection (not likely, but possible)... and if you still have problems, consider talking to your ob/gyn for suggestions-or even call a planned-parenthood toll-free nurse line in your area, they are always great help! good luck, and be careful! ;-)
