During my teenage years, the Beatles were all the rage in the UK. But rather than follow the sheep, I decided on the opera house. The opera was La Traviata and I was totally transfixed by the death of Violetta at the end of act 3. Despite watching the whole opera more than 700 times in one year during the 1980's. it is still one of my favorites.
