I was just wondering what everyones first live show experience was? Mine was Bon Jovi and Skid Row and I was so in love with jon bon jovi and sebastian bach... my mom and my cousin took me and my mom said the language that sebastian bach used was so bad that she felt like she wished she didn't take me.. but the bon jovi show was good.... then the next day at school I wore my black bon jovi concert tee and felt like such a bad ass. lol. I must have been 12.... I was such a dork. (still am)
My grandparents took my brother and I to Disneyworld on 4th of July many years ago and we saw Neil Diamond perform in front of the castle. Unfortunately, I suppose that counts as my "first" concert. But I'd rather count the first Dead show my parents took me to in '92. Much better experience
It was a Richfield show...I'll have to look up the specific date though... figured it out...it was 6/9/92.
i saw blue oyster cult it was realy kick ass but like 3/4 through the set my mom made me leave cause it was late and i had school the next day
Raffi when I was probably 2 years old. First one that I saw and remebered and volunatarily went to was Nattalie McMaster.
yeah i know i am a late bloomer, but my first concert was september 23, 2002 at the MCI center with INCUBUS. my lord, what an awesome show. i was kinda mad cuz i was in the bathroom when they played 'a certain shade of green'.
My first concert was seeing Our Lady Peace about eight years ago in a club that only held about 200 people so it was kind of mellow. They are very, very good live.
I guess my 1st real gig was when i seen John Squire of the Stone Roses live...didnt like it much..... In my opinion the 2 best live bands in the world at the moment are Bruce Springsteen and the E street band and The Levellers. Ive been lucky enough to see springsteen over here in the UK and ive seen the levellers many times...they get better each time i see them...roll on Beautiful Days and Glastonbury festivals....
Almost embarrassed to say, but mine was the Beatles tour 40 years ago this year. I was in 2nd grade and went with my mom, Aunt and Cousin. Our parents died our hair and dressed us like little Beatles. Cool, huh? And Luna99, I saw that same Bon Jovi, Skid Row tour and Sebastion WAS VERY obsene. It was after the LA riots (Rodney King one) and he went on and on about that. I don't really like either band, but went with a friend. Ny first concert with an "altered" mind was Mountain with Black Sabbath backing up. Awesome.
My first concert would have to be some local bands that were playing near my house. Besides that i'd have to say the guess who were mine
white snake / great white. 1987 had a blast. bon jovi/ skid row was one of my very next shows after that.
