First Barefoot Walk 2015

Discussion in 'Barefoot' started by Deleted member 159087, Mar 12, 2015.

  1. 1:10 p.m. Thursday, March 11, for 0.8 miles at 46 degrees F.
Only 30 drivers slowed down, down from last year's 43. Barefooters ARE a traffic hazard!

46 F, still quite chilly where you are then? Expecting any more snow this year?

....and BTW traffic is a barefoot hazard! :D :D

5°C/41°F right now, windy, rainy, half an hour walk to gas station and back to get ciggs.

At the end I was quite cold, but mostly cause of my holey clothes. ;)

I wasn't keeping track, but it's 6 tenths of a mile to the shop from home - and I walk it pretty much every day. Probably Jan 2 or 3, tems would have been right aroud 30 in the morning.

I love to go barefoot, but my feet don't have tread & the last time that I tried going outside barefoot in the snow I slipped & almost fell & broke my neck! The cold snow also draws the heat right out of you really quick. It doesn't take very long standing in the snow before my feet start hurting & I head back in.

The way that the weather is going, there might not be bare ground here for quite a while yet. It had melted down to about 6" by last night. Now we have several inches of fresh snow!
