FIRST APPLIQUE! (for retrogroovegirl)

Heya
Well i made my frist ever successful applique today WOOOHOO! I decided as retro was making me something i would make her something in return. I have a weeny section of this super cool retro fabric so i thought i would use it on a bag for her. So i made an appliques with it and used the remainders of the fabric from jaycee's top to make the bag *grin*

Hope she likes it.

looks good! What method did you use?

 

Cut the fabric and tacked it with some thread onto the fabric i was going to later make into the bag. Then i turned my stitch length down to about 0.5 and just stitched

Well thats cool. i didnt really have anything to do today so i figured i might as well get your presant done. I dont have any money for postage at the moment as i said so it will be a while untill you recieve it.

MrsMorrison hehe im not the next funky phresh im the next fleassy. i wouldnt dream of taking funky's buisness her styles quite different and thats what i love about the forums. You can get anything you want. from a knitted hat to an applique artwork of herons
