Are we to believe that one or two arsonists started this?

Personally I find that story sad. I find this whole thing real sad.

Could it be a conspiracy? I am trying to look for some legit stories, more than what the famous talking heads are saying.

The fires are threatening Olympia and other famous sites even, which is a real shame.

Who could be behind these fires? or are they natural because of lack of rain? I would think they are maybe natural, but lack of action and lack of empathy cause them to get to the point they are now.

I don't know though, just looking for unbiased articles.

Perhaps the fires were started by a group of separatists who wish to return to the old ways of ancient Greece, when men like Euripides and Sophocles were writing Greek tragedies, Hellenistic rulers were making their mark upon the world, and Gods like Zeus, Apollo, Hera, and Aphrodite, ruled the heavens above [IMG]

Greece is a pretty arid country to begin with. The monuments are in no danger because they're built out of stone.

They're in trouble because they don't have a decent firefighting ability. Fact.

This season will prompt change. Fact.

A couple years back, there were some people in the western U.S. that were deliberately starting forest fires so that they could get hired for summer work to put out fires.
