Hey just to let you know incase you dont firefox 4.0 is out though its still in beta, ive been running it for a few days now and its pretty good. Alot of the addons arent compatible with it but they should be updated soon to remedy that. It has a new feature called sync that lets you make a firefox account so you can access your bookmarks, tabs, saved passwords etc on other computers with sync installed on it including mobile phones. Looking pretty promising this, and it absolutely shits on IE8 Heres what it looks like on my desktop pretty similar to the usual firefox we've all grown to love
anyone can tell me how to embed an image from my computer ie it doesnt have a url that would be appreciated lol
Awrite duck, a just brought up ma task manager and realised what your talking about, i had two plugincontainer.exe come up, one at 10,000k and one at 2,000. Thats the first time ive heard of this but i'll see if its possible to dissable that also firefox was using up 159,000k lol so if youve got low memory that might be a bitch lol ive only got 1gb momory though and i usually have MSN and windows media player on when im online too and everything smooth
My computer is a douchebag. I think VideoDownloader is one of the troublesome plug-ins, but it's a must have for me. (porn addict =P) Anything you really like about the new Firefox?
Well i think this sync feature is great, i had the xmarks addon which was simalar but worked only for bookmarks, my bookmarks are the most important thing to me in my browser lol i have them in there own folders, sections, sub-sections lol this is years of sifting through the shit on the web and i now have all the good stuff in my bookmarks hardly ever need to do a google search these days unless im researching shit. Anyhoos back to firefox, yeh this sync has great potential and im sure they have greatly improved the security aswell. Remeber its still in beta though so its still early days it will be a good while yet untill the addons have been updated to be compatible and theres prob still a good amount of bugs in it yet though the only bug ive came accross is that each tab opens up a new window aswell though im on Windows 7 dont know if this is the case on other OS's
You can't. But you can try to disable your plug-ins and find out which one is causing it to spike up real bad.
