I was perscribed this for pain but am afraid to take it because I've heard it is a very strong combination. I know I'm suppossed to take it with food and a lot of water but what else should I know? I freak out on new medicines sometimes if I feel like I am out of control (like can't drive myself or get myself things), how bad does this stuff knock you out?
wow darvocets suck im still in a tad bit of pain and i have no high at all. I need them so it's not like im taking painkillers for kicks but still i want a little fun with my sickness so tommorow i think ill do the codiene

Fiornal with Codeine a.ka. (Fiorcet with Codeine) is a Combonation Narcotic Pain medication mainly used for headaches and such. The Fiornal part is basically a Barbituate containing Phenebarbital, Acetemetophin, Aspirin, and Caffiene, the Codiene is an additinal opiate based narcotic pain reliever. ----it is very sedating and Darvocet is much less sedating though maybe not as effective for pain. It is to say more powerful in pain relief than the Darvocet would be, though I would not recommend driving at all on it, especially if not used to the sedetive type medications. It works good for headaches though. Peace RXhead
Fioracet with cod is fantastic for headaches. Be careful with it, and don't take more than is recommended, as the combo of a really light Barb and an opiate could effect your breathing, but not at normal doses. Don't drive until you know how it will effect you. Everybody is effected a bit differently by this drug. It simply helps my headaches with no buzz and little sleepiness, my mother gets wasted on it, to the point where it is embarressing. She won't let the doctor prescribe it for her anymore. (I have a very embarressing story from when I was a kid, but I'm not going to tell it. LOL!)
heh pm me...I had an embarassing experience on it too. Well I took it and am out ): it was great! and the darvs don't help my pain so my grandma got me some panadol ultra (codeine with tylenol) it's otc in britain. I have 200 doses of codeine and tylenol perscribed from my doc in liquid form but it's so nasty blahhhh I also got the peach xanax pills (the super strong ones) and .5 valium , chich don't really do a whole lot for me. I felt like crap today had nose bleeds all day and last night my glands hurt but the doc asked if i had a fever and said no because i didn't feel feverish so she told me i didn't need to come in and just to call in sick to work. well i just took my temp and it's 101.4 so i took the tylenol with codeine just now and am hoping it kicks in soon sigh owwwy):
